Dr. Joseph (Joe) C. Harsanyi is president of Applied Signal & Image Technology (ASIT), which was acquired by L-3 in November, 2005. Dr. Harsanyi has 20 years of experience in the development of innovative signal processing techniques and systems, and founded ASIT in 1992 to build a business using the state of the art in adaptive array signal processing for high-resolution spectral imagery and antenna arrays for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems. Dr. Harsanyi received a BA in Physics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in 1985, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in 1988 and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UMBC in 1993. |
