Joseph B. Magnone is the Northrop Grumman Corporate Lead Execuitive (CLE) for Boston, Mass.
In this capacity as a CLE he is responsible for creating a customer-focused business strategy to apply the company’s full capabilities to satisfy current and future Electronic Systems Center customer needs. Mr. Magnone provides a full spectrum of support to important Northrop Grumman business areas from tactical engagements to strategic positioning, by developing and maintaining key customer relationships and coordinating a team-approach among local Northrop Grumman personnel.
Mr. Magnone is also the principal Business and Strategy Development field representative for the Boston office of Northrop Grumman’s Integrated Systems sector. He has oversight responsibilities for all existing sector programs, such as Joint STARS, E10-A and MP-RTIP, and pursues future opportunities for Integrated Systems.
Prior to joining Northrop Grumman in March 2004, Mr. Magnone was the executive director, C4ISR programs for Dynamics Research Corporation (DRC) with profit/loss responsibility for over $40 million of revenue annually. He served as corporate liaison to Electronic Systems Center and the greater Hanscom AFB community, representing DRC.
Mr. Magnone graduated from West Virginia University, and holds an MBA from Troy State University. He served 27 years in the United States Air Force. Highlights of his Air Force career include service as the chief of staff for Electronic System Center, director of Contracts for the Joint STARS Program and director of Contracts for the B-1B Program.
