Mr. Frumkin also has represented, SBC Communications and Cingular in Cingular s acquisition of AT&T Wireless, Telewest Global, Inc. in its acquisition by NTL Incorporated, USF in its acquisition by Yellow Roadway, General Growth in its acquisition of The Rouse Company, Moore Wallace Corporation in its combination with RR Donnelley & Sons, Prudential in its acquisitions of CIGNA s retirement business and American Skandia, UBS in its acquisition of the Enron energy trading business, Centrica plc in its acquisition of assets from New Power Holdings, Allegheny Energy in connection with its financial restructuring, Wisconsin Central in its acquisition by Canadian National, Powergen plc in its acquisition by E.ON A.G., ING in its acquisition of Aetna, DTE Energy in its acquisition of MCN Energy, Allegheny Energy in its acquisition of the Merrill Lynch energy trading business, Big Flower Holdings in its recapitalization by Thomas H. (formerly SBC Communications) in numerous transactions, including its acquisitions of BellSouth, AT&T, Pacific Telesis, SNET, Prodigy, Associated Communications and other cellular telephone businesses, in its wireless joint venture with BellSouth and in its divestiture of Ameritech cellular telephone properties and other cellular telephone properties. Mr. Frumkin was an American Lawyer "Dealmaker of the Year" in 2004 for his work in the Cingular-AT&T Wireless transaction.
