Concienne has overall responsibility for the Big Spring facility which produces 70 000 barrels per day of petroleum product and employs more than 160 people. In service for more than 75 years the refinery obtains crude from the Permian Basin and foreign crude via the Amdel Pipeline. It delivers products from Ft. Smith Arkansas to Phoenix Arizona and between via an extensive pipeline network connected to third party pipelines.
Prior to joining ALON USA Concienne worked in a variety of positions in the refining industry including process development research project engineering refining economics and process unit supervision. He also has held several refinery management positions including site manager overseeing various facilities since 1990. |
