Jorge Coello serves as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Guadalajara, Jalisco office. Prior to joining DHR International he was the Executive Search Director at a leading Mexico-based consulting firm. Earlier career positions include: lead auditor during his three years of tenure at Arthur Andersen & Company; eleven years at K. J. Quinn, a chemical products research and development company, starting as Finance Director and ending as General Director for Mexico and Latin America; nine years as Director General for Tequila Sauza, S.A. de C.V. where he was responsible for the worldwide start-up of operations and participated in its due diligence and selling process as part of a package with Domecq to an European corporation; five years in Consorcio Empresarial Tepeyac, S.A. de C.V. where he was engaged in the purchase and sale of companies and in the development of several real estate projects at a national level, as well as the operation of fighting bulls stockbreeding as Chief Executive Officer. Professional affiliations include: Vice-President for Ethics and Development of the National Chamber of Commerce of Guadalajara, Regular Member of the Transparency Council for the Municipalities of Guadalajara and Zapopan, Jalisco; Professor at Universidad Panamericana; Invited Professor of Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Guadalajara Campus, Founder of the Ethics and Development Center of the State of Jalisco; Vice-President and Member of the National Council of the Finance Executives Institute (IMEF) for ten years, and member of the Board of several companies. Jorge is a bilingual professional, graduated as Public Accountant at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and in Business Administration at Universidad de Las Americas. He also attended the AD2 Top Management program at Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa in Mexico City and Strategic Planning at Wharton University. |
