Jorge Caridad is a Regional Managing Partner with CTPartners, a premier executive search firm committed to performance, quality and results. An experienced executive and search consultant, Jorge recruits leaders with global perspective integrating client service, new opportunities, and profitability. With a combined experience of more than 17 years in the executive search arena, Jorge has conducted numerous assignments for a broad spectrum of regional and multinational clients including consumer products, life sciences companies, industrial, information technology and leading financial services. His successful placements include CEOs, COOs, CIO,s CFOs, general managers, country leaders, and senior general management responsible for marketing, sales, quality, finance, human resources, and manufacturing. Previously Jorge was with Heidrick & Struggles, serving as Area Managing Partner for the Andean Region. Earlier, he was one of the founders of a regional executive search firm, which was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles in 1996. Jorge’s diverse professional experiences include being Investment Manager of the Venezuelan Investment Fund. In this capacity, he served as a member of the boards of directors of several aluminum, mining and energy companies. Earlier, Jorge held senior finance positions with several global consumer products companies. He was Vice President of Finance and Administration for Licorerias Unidas (Seagrams Inc.), Coselca (L’Oreal de Paris), Helena Rubinstein (a subsidiary of Colgate-Palmolive Inc.), and Estee Lauder. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Co., becoming an Audit and Financial Senior Consultant. Jorge graduated from the Universidad Central de Venezuela with a degree in public accounting. He is active in many professional organizations including the Venezuelan Association of Executives (AVE) and the Venezuelan Institute of Finance Executives (IVEF). He serves on the Human Resources Committee of the Venezuelan-American Chamber. Jorge is based in Caracas. |
