Mr. San Miguel joined FECI in June 2006 as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining FECI he was Chief Financial Officer of The Codina Group from March 2004 - April 2006. Jorge joined Codina in August 2000, where he spearheaded the acquisition and revitalization of the Miami Free Zone, a multi-use development that houses US Foreign Trade Zone # 32, the premier gateway for multilateral trade between the United States and Latin America.
Previously, Jorge worked at Ernst & Young, LLP where he developed a Latin America Mergers and Acquisitions group focusing on buy-side due diligence consulting. In addition to business development, he actively directed engagements in various countries including Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the United States.
Jorge is a graduate of Fordham University and a Certified Public Accountant. He began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co, where he worked for seven years in Miami and Barcelona, Spain. He is fluent in Spanish and knowledgeable in Catalan, French and Portuguese. |
