Jorge Herrera is a member of the firm’s Securities Law and Commercial Litigation practice areas based in the Florida office. He represents financial institutions, broker-dealers, and investment advisors in securities related matters. After his first year of law school, Mr. Herrera spent a summer working for Merrill Lynch’s Office of General Counsel in New York City. In addition, he was selected for Emory’s Field Placement Program. As a result, he had the opportunity to serve as a law clerk to both the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service and to the General Counsel of The Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Herrera was also a member of Emory’s Moot Court Society, Dean’s List, and earned the Dean’s Award for Highest Grade in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He received a Transactional Law Certificate with a Concentration in Tax. Mr. Herrera is fluent in Spanish. Bar Admissions Florida (pending) |
