Jonathan is a Director of Cliffwater LLC. Prior to joining Cliffwater in 2006, Jonathan was an associate at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP in Los Angeles where he represented domestic and international private and public companies in all aspects of corporate and business law. Jonathan advised corporate and public pension fund clients on new investments in private equity and leveraged buyout funds, and he represented private equity clients in connection with the formation of their funds. Prior to Paul Hastings, Jonathan worked at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP in New York as an associate in the corporate department, where he represented domestic and international private and public companies in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, private equity investments, joint ventures, public offerings and private placements of securities, securities regulation and general corporate representation. Jonathan earned a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the California and New York State Bars. |
