Mr. Dorton joined FundsXpress in January 1999 as Corporate Controller and was named Chief Financial Officer in 2002. Dorton is responsible for all finance, accounting, human resources and compliance functions at FundsXpress. Prior to joining FundsXpress, Dorton was Corporate Controller of Power Computing Corporation in Round Rock, Texas where has was responsible for all accounting and financial reporting functions, as well as filing the company's S-1 registration with the SEC prior to the sale of the company's assets to Apple Computer, Inc. He also served as Accounting Manager of Ross Technology, an Austin, Texas-based semiconductor manufacturing company, from 1994 to 1996. As Accounting Manager, Dorton was responsible for SEC reporting for Ross Technology during and subsequent to its initial public offering. Dorton’s background also includes auditing positions with KPMG, LLP and Ernst and Young, LLP. Dorton holds a Masters in Professional Accounting and a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. |
