Jon practices in the areas of corporate law, finance, and securities matters. He has wide experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions and other forms of business combinations such as joint ventures. He has participated in numerous high technology and Internet-related financings representing venture capital investors, and has negotiated numerous credit agreements on behalf of borrowers. As general counsel to one of the world's largest international metals and minerals companies, Jon has structured their acquisitions, international joint ventures, distribution and agency agreements. He has acted as outside counsel to the asset management division of one of Wall Street's preeminent financial firms in several of its acquisitions. Jon was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1968 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association. He is a graduate of Brandeis University, where he obtained his A.B. degree, and of the New York University School of Law. |
