Jonathan Choy currently serves as Senior Vice President in the firm’s Hong Kong office covering the Asia Pacific region. Joining the firm in 2004, he provides business development and search execution support in building and expanding the firm’s business in Asia. Jonathan has experience in filling senior level searches across Asia Pacific and possesses industry experience in the Advanced Technology, Retail, Consumer, Professional Services and Manufacturing sectors. He focuses in filling functional as well as general management roles for clients in various industry sectors. Jonathan spent the majority of his career in the Information Technology Industry. He spent more than seven years in technology related firms and provided Consulting services to clients from various industries. Jonathan possesses strong capabilities in sales, business development, client management, project management, business analysis, system testing and training. In addition, his experience includes a stint as an IT consultant with IBM’s China operations where he provided key input in various application development projects as a systems analyst and an application assurance specialist for various Project Management Office (PMO) teams. More recently, Jonathan worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager, with several technology solution providers, leading and managing teams in developing business proposals and working with various clients to design and deliver technology solutions. Jonathan led application development teams for various major projects in both the public and commercial sectors in Hong Kong and China. Jonathan holds a Master of Science, in Information Technology and Management, and a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Environmental Science from the University of London. He is fluent in English and Cantonese and has a good working knowledge of Mandarin.
