Jon Pearce applies his background in healthcare financial management and advanced data management and analytics to assist DGA clients in developing and using reporting solutions and tools. With Microsoft certification and a CPA, he is a data person who thinks like a business person. He gives clients the ability to answer critical clinical and financial management questions without having to go to a programmer.

He has designed numerous utilization and financial reporting systems, including online reporting tools, desktop applications and data warehouses supporting advanced analytic tools. In these projects, his primary focus is on translating raw data into actionable business information.

His experience includes developing:

A multi-payer reporting system for an integrated delivery system

A comprehensive reporting system, including on-line reporting tools, for a provider-owned risk-assuming organization

A reporting process for a Medicaid HMO using legacy data sources

Desktop tools to help medical directors and utilization management professionals perform clinical analysis of utilization and cost information

Models to evaluate the effects of various third-party payer arrangements on profitability

Global fee arrangements for physician specialties

He has also evaluated fee schedules vs. other payment methods for fee-for-service provider organizations.

Before joining DGA, Jon managed strategic, financial and information-based consulting engagements for the Raleigh Group and was a manager at Laventhol & Horwath, CPAs, where he was national coordinator for reimbursement services.

He holds an MBA in Finance from Temple University, a BS in Engineering from Lehigh University and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Jon is a member of HFMA, AICPA and HIMSS.
