Mr. Kennedy is a partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Department. His practice is focused on commercial real estate transactions, including extensive experience in office leasing on behalf of both REITs and other institutional owners of commercial real estate, and institutional tenants, including some of the country’s largest high-technology companies. Mr. Kennedy’s practice also includes the acquisition of raw and developed land on behalf of developers and end-users (for example, the acquisition of sites for corporate campus developments, and the subsequent negotiation of construction and management agreements), as well as the sale of office and other commercial properties. Mr. Kennedy’s clients include real estate investment trusts (including the country’s largest office REIT), insurance companies, publicly traded and privately held technology companies, as well as individuals.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Mr. Kennedy has lectured on real estate matters on behalf of the California State Bar, BOMA International, Nacor and others, and is an Associate Member of the International Development Research Council.
EDUCATION
Mr. Kennedy received an A.B. degree from Lawrence University in 1983 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1987. |
