Jonathan C. Mintzer is vice president general counsel and corporate secretary of Hearst-Argyle Television Inc. He has served within the television industry since 1981.
Prior to joining Hearst-Argyle Mintzer served since 1987 as a member of the Office of General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of The Hearst Corporation the diversified media company which is Hearst-Argyle’s majority shareholder.
Before Hearst Mintzer was general counsel of Group W Satellite Communications a unit of Westinghouse Corporation and an innovator in cable and broadcast television programming and distribution. Before that he was an assistant attorney general for New York State serving in Manhattan.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany Mintzer holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School.
Mintzer is admitted to the New York state Bar and is also admitted to practice in the federal courts. He also is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. |
