Jon Jarrett leads the industrial brokerage and development effort for Merrifield Partners, LLC. His responsibilities include tenant and landlord representation, built-to-suit development, and site selection for third party clients.Prior to the formation of Merrifield Partners in 2004, Jon had been directly involved in several of the Charlotte Region's largest commercial real estate transactions while heading up the Industrial Division for Crosland Commercial. Some of the transactions that were completed for his third party clients over the last few years were for Lowe's Companies, Inc., NASCAR Technical Institute, Interstate Land Investors, and Builders' Supply & Lumber. As a result of these transactions and others, Jon has established quality relationships with various state and local economic development entities and is well versed in the available economic incentives, which have proven to be invaluable to his clients. In addition to third-party client representation, as part of his duties at Merrifield Partners, Jon markets and represents six office and industrial parks for the company. In that portfolio, he is responsible for the marketing of over 700-acres of land in six counties in the Charlotte Region. With this much land inventory at his disposal, Jon and Merrifield Partners have become one of the regions top sources for quality industrial sites. Jon has been a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors prestigious $10 Million Dollar Club two of the last three years and was awarded the "2nd Largest Land Sales Producer" in the Charlotte Region for 2001. Prior to his assignment at Merrifield Partners, Jon worked 7 years with Crosland heading up its Industrial Division. Before entering the commercial real estate industry, Jon worked nine years in manufacturing sales and marketing for International Paper Company. "I believe my years of calling on and servicing the publishing, printing, and distribution sectors of that industry have provided me with a valuable insight into the needs of an industrial real estate user."
