Favorite Childhood Trip: My family would drive down to Connecticut every summer to spend a week at Old Kelsey Point, to the same cottage my Dad escaped to when he was growing up. I remember spending hours on the jetty trying to catch crabs, getting stung by the jellyfish, and trying to captain our little sunfish... ah, the memories...
Favorite City: Portland, Maine - even if the population doesn't quite qualify as a "city" by technical terms, it has all the amenities you need with a small town attitude. I love kayaking around Casco Bay or riding the ferry out to Peaks Island for a lobster dinner. |
