Jon Linn manages initiatives focused on efficient commercial lighting and efficient packaged HVAC systems. He has also managed NEEP’s initiatives for efficiency in industrial motors and for whole building energy performance. In his capacity as initiative manager Jon coordinates advisory groups for each initiative, organizes information exchange events and manages joint regional contractors for program implementation and for topic-specific research.
Jon has made his living in the energy efficiency field since 1980. He has worked in facilities management at Colby College, electric utility fields at Central Maine Power Co. in engineering, customer services, marketing and efficiency programs. He has functioned as operations officer and business development manager for a small energy services company and has provided independent consulting services to utilities and other program managers from northern New England to eastern Australia.
Jon is a licensed professional engineer and member of the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air conditioning Engineers and the American Society for Mechanical Engineers. Jon is also a Board member for the National Council for Quality Lighting Professionals. |
