As the Director of Campus Dining Services, Jon Lewis leads a merged unit of the dining and catering units of the residence department and the Memorial Union at Iowa State University. Jon comes to Iowa State from the University of Maine where he was Executive Director of Student Auxiliary Services. Prior to this, he was Director of Dining and Conference Services at the University of Maine from 1989 to 1999; Director of Dining Services at the University of the Pacific, Stockton, Calif., from 1982 to 1989; and Manager of Student center Food Service Operations at California State University, Los Angeles, from 1979 to 1982. He received a B.S. in hotel, restaurant and institutional management from Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind., in 1976, and an M.B.A. from California State University in 1981. |
