Jon Hambidge oversees all global marketing and public relations for IPWireless. He is also responsible for the company’s initiatives to promote the UMTS TD-CDMA standard around the world, serving as the Chairman of the Global UMTS TD-CDMA Alliance. Prior to joining IPWireless in 2001, Hambidge ran various marketing functions for NorthPoint Communications, a national DSL provider in the United States, including brand and acquisition marketing, channel marketing, marketing strategy, and a number of strategic marketing partnerships. Prior to joining NorthPoint, Hambidge spent over seven years at Charles Schwab & Co. in a variety of marketing and product management functions. Hambidge holds an MBA from The Haas School of Business, the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor of arts in Economics and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. |
