Jon is a Venture Partner at Catamount Ventures. Prior to Catamount, Jon was Vice President of Sales at Grassroots Enterprise, Inc. Prior to Grassroots, Jon spent five years with Remedy Corporation (NYSE: BMC) developing and implementing their sales and channel strategies in the US and Asia. Jon managed the creation and launch of Remedy's first dedicated US telesales organization; he created the engagement strategies for Asia/Pacific and then implemented those strategies through local partnerships and major direct sales; and was responsible for launching and managing Remedy's Japanese subsidiary. While living in Japan, Jon coordinated the introduction of Remedy's products into Japan which included recruiting and managing Remedy's strategic partners and customers, project managing the localized versions of Remedy's software, and hiring and training local staff. Prior to Remedy, Jon spent several years at Island Graphics in a variety of sales and sales management roles, and at Oracle Corporation in their telesales (DMD) and finance organizations. Jon serves as a member or observer on the Board of Directors of Dymanic Payment Ventures , Siterra Corporation, Verdiem, SignalDemand, and advises several portfolio companies including Liquid Engines. Jon holds a BA degree from Claremont McKenna College. |
