Jon Davidman is the President and Co-Founder of EarthQuake Media. Since its formation in 1999, New York-based EarthQuake has emerged as one of the advertising industry’s leading integrated media solutions companies. EarthQuake has engineered major multimedia advertising campaigns using traditional assets and translating them to the web, in addition to integrated TV, radio, print and internet marketing campaigns. By incorporating multiple forms of media, EarthQuake provides its clients with the opportunity to speak directly to individuals by not only reaching and talking to consumers as a mass market, but also engaging them one-on-one, into interactive participation.
Prior to launching EarthQuake Media, Mr. Davidman was one of early drivers of Yahoo!’s growth into one of the Internet’s leading success stories. At Yahoo!, Mr. Davidman worked in the Strategic Alliance Group, where he created a variety of business opportunities that generated millions of dollars in new revenue for the Internet portal. These early successes played a major role in starting Yahoo! on its path to success as an Internet powerhouse.
Yahoo! was not Mr. Davidman’s first Internet success. He was a Senior Account Executive at Broadcast.com, as well as Director of Sportsworld.com, a Broadcast.com division. As one of Broadcast.com’s first employees, Mr. Davidman was instrumental in the development of viable revenue streams and an entirely new business unit for the publicly held company. Broadcast.com was later sold to Yahoo! for more than $6 billion. |
