Jon joined Spangler, Jennings & Dougherty in 2000, after working as a history/civics teacher for three years, as well as a social worker for two years in Pennsylvania. Jon has been an attorney since 2000, when he was admitted to practice by the State of Indiana, and the United States District Court, Northern and Southern Districts. He has served as first chair in over 20 jury trials with outstanding results. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association; Porter County Bar Association; and Porter County Inns of Court. He has also represented religious institutions, and has participated in numerous successful mediation and arbitration sessions. Jon is originally from southeastern Pennsylvania, but has lived in Northwest Indiana since 1997, and he and his family now reside in Valparaiso, Indiana. He enjoys reading, camping, and hiking. |
