Jon joined Employers Direct in December of 2002, as the Vice President of Loss Control and designed and built the department to suit the company’s needs and those of our valued customers. He brings over 15 years of insurance industry experience and three years of risk management experience from the private sector to Employers Direct. Currently, Jon leads the Sales Department and is responsible for the acquisition and retention of new and existing customers. He also oversees the Customer Service Department, which, added as a new department this year, provides an additional layer of service to customers. Also, Jon is ultimately responsible for the direction of the Loss Control Department. Previously, Jon served as National Vice President of Accident Prevention for the General Business Segment at Royal & SunAlliance in Glendale, where he was a member of a nationwide team designed to research and develop new segments. His primary focus was to improve profitability through accident prevention services in the United States. In addition to his Associate in Risk Management designation, Jon’s experience also includes marketing, underwriting, and extensive loss control consulting with EBI Companies, Business Insurance Group, Unicare Insurance Company, and Pacific Rim Assurance Company. |
