John founded Turin Networks in 1999. Currently he is the Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer at Turin. Prior to founding Turin Networks, Mr. Webley co-founded Advanced Fibre Communications (AFC), where he guided the company into its present position as one of today's leading independent telecommunications suppliers. John most recently served as AFC's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), responsible for shaping the 3rd generation NGDLC company's technology strategy. During his seven-year tenure at the company John also held the positions of VP of Marketing and VP of Advanced R&D. Before AFC, Mr. Webley had co-founded Quadrium Corporation and also held strategic engineering positions at Optilink (now Alcatel). John earned a BSEE, an Hons BSc, and an MSEE from the University of Stellenboscn, South Africa. |
