John has over 15 years of investment banking experience. For the past 10 of those years he has worked with companies ranging from entrepreneurial startups to publicly traded companies. He has completed nearly 40 transactions with a principal focus on merger and acquisition advisory assignments. He has investment banking experience in a variety of industries including industrial manufacturing, medical components design and manufacturing, distribution, business/financial services, printing/publishing, and consumer/retail. John recently worked as a Director at a Los Angeles-based, cross-border mergers and acquisition advisory firm where he was responsible for the firm’s Chicago office, and previously worked in mergers and acquisitions at two middle market investment banking firms in Chicago. He began his investment banking career at CSFB in Chicago and also worked at KPMG in Chicago. John received a BBA degree from the University of Iowa and a MBA degree with concentrations in Finance, International Business and Accounting from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. John is qualified as a General Securities Representative and as a General Securities Principal. |
