John Thornell , PhD., (Col., USMC, ret.), Principal Consultant and Member, Board of Advisors. Dr. Thornell has over 30 years of project resource management and executive leadership. During his career in the Marine Corps., Dr. Thornell received numerous commendations and decorations including the award for Outstanding Marine Aviator in 1988. In the last 18 months, Dr. Thornell has provide consulting and program management services to the Department of Veterans Affairs involving program management, strategic and operational planning, special studies, Earned Value Management and reporting. He previously provided guidance to Fortune 1000 companies on the development and deployment of IT solutions, delivering a career project total in excess of $1 billion. Dr. Thornell has a BA degree from the University of Hartford, MA degrees from the U.S. Naval War College and from Salve Regina University, and a doctorate from Columbus University.
