John Steinbrun, a co-founder of our firm, provides expertise in identifying and filling the specialized managerial skills required by clients in turnaround or distressed situations. John heads The Steinbrun Group, our partner organization, which provides consulting services and funding solutions to transition and turnaround clients. The Steinbrun Group develops and implements corporate restructuring plans and provides advice to financially and/or operationally distressed middle-market companies. Prior to founding The Steinbrun Group, John spent nearly a decade with The Heico Companies, a large private equity fund that buys bankrupt companies, turns them around, and grows them into industry leaders. His background also includes operations finance experience with Mattel, Inc. as well as Westfield America, a national real estate developer. John holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago, and a B.S. in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University. He is also a CPA, having worked in the middle-market audit and advisory practice of Deloitte & Touche. |
