John J. Soto was named Vice President, Global Sales in June 2007. Mr. Soto served as Vice President, Outside U.S. Sales, since February, 2007, when he joined AngioDynamics in conjunction with the acquisition of RITA Medical Systems. While at RITA, he served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales, from 2006 to 2007 and as Vice President, International Operations, since joining the company in 2003. From 2002 to 2003, Mr. Soto was Vice President and General Manager, Operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa for Computer Motion Inc. From 2000 to 2002, Mr. Soto served as Managing Director of Europe for Surgical Dynamics, a division of TYCO International's Healthcare Business. From 1993 to 1999, he held various sales, marketing and product management positions at United States Surgical, which became a division of TYCO International during his tenure. Mr. Soto’s degree is in engineering. He has a diploma in medical marketing from the University of California at Los Angeles. |
