Mr. Slaney joined GDS in 1993. He began his career with the company as a developer of turnkey computer systems for business applications, including a number of highly successful solutions dedicated to imaging and distribution. Working in partnership with Xerox Corporation's Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), he helped launch the VIPP statement processing workflow a framework for describing key processes within an entire production workflow, from order entry through fulfillment. As COO, Mr. Slaney places special emphasis on bringing new technologies to the marketplace and developing innovative, next-generation products and services for GDS' clients. A graduate of SUNY Maritime College, Mr. Slaney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. |
