John Sinnott joined Struever Bros. Eccles & Rouse (SBER) in 2004 as Senior Development Director in its Providence, RI office. In his current position, Mr. Sinnott oversees and manages SBER's New England office. Presently SBER is developing condo and rental units at the former Royal Mills, known as Royal Mills at Riverpoint; and a mixed-use development at the former Providence Dyeing, Bleaching and Calendaring (PDB &C) Mill now known as The Plant. Other projects in the works are the Dynamo House, a renovation of the old South Street Station Power Plant into an aLoft Hotel, the Heritage Harbor Museum, and office space/labs; American Locomotive/Nicholson File- a $330 MM mixed used development with Historic rehab and new construction, will provide mixed income housing, retail and office space, first tenant is RI Economic Corporation; and Calendar Mills (50 Valley Street)- a mixed use historic rehab with 10 Residential units and United Way as tenant. Mr. Sinnott acts as the liaison between SBER and the local community, institutions and municipal officials and is responsible for business development of future projects in the New England area. Prior to joining SBER, Mr. Sinnott was the Director of Construction Services for Starwood Wasserman, a national real estate development company. Mr. Sinnott has worked in the construction field for over 25 years in the Rhode Island area. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brown University in Civil Engineering and played professional football with the New York Giants and Baltimore Colts for four years. |
