Dr. Seiler is a partner at Georgia Hand and Microsurgery specializing in surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He received his M.D. in 1985 from the University of Louisville. He completed both his Internship and Residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and completed a Fellowship focused on hand and upper extremity surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Seiler is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Emory University and was the Director of Orthopedic Resident Education. Dr. Seiler is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has obtained the certificate of added qualification in surgery of the hand. Dr. Seiler has been a director for the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1993. He is a former president of Atlanta Orthopaedic Association, Georgia Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society. He serves as a councilor to the Southern Orthopaedic Association. He was the official team physician for the Atlanta Falcons from 1997 to 2006. He is a member of many other professional organizations including American Orthopaedic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Medical Association, and American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Seiler has published widely on various topics in hand surgery. He has also participated in an abundance of lectures and projects as well as partaking in scientific presentations for the various professional organizations that he holds membership. |
