John Schmidt, Managing Partner & Co-founder With over 20 years of experience, John leads CPC’s business development and marketing efforts. John is also a member of CPC’s Executive Credit Committee. As a former corporate officer of Transamerica Finance Corporation, John built a new business origination platform for domestic and international companies; managed over $1 billion in annual volume across 12 countries; and assisted in the design of a global servicing platform. In his previous role as the regional vice president for Deutsche Financial Services Northern California business, he managed the company’s operations, accounting, credit and sales functions. John also developed his diverse skill set as a field auditor, credit manager, area operations manager and business development manager. He holds a B.A. from the University of Northern Colorado. |
