Dr. John Pye is a Senior Managing Engineer in Exponent’s Technology Development practice and the Director of the Phoenix Arizona office. With a background in mechanical and aerospace engineering Dr. Pye has expertise in issues pertaining to fluid mechanics aerodynamics heat transfer combustion aircraft propulsion mechanical systems vibration analysis aero-acoustics and wind tunnel testing. His experience with gas turbines includes direct involvement with test cell support investigation of compressor blade fretting and fuel performance testing. Dr. Pye also has extensive experience with data acquisition signal processing hardware interfacing and instrumentation. He received a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University. |
