After eight years with a national and a regional certified public accounting firm, Mr. Postma, along with Mr. Lesley, formed Lesley, Thomas, Schwarz & Postma, Inc., Certified Public Accountants, in 1976.
Mr. Postma specializes in audit, review, compilation and tax services for the health care, manufacturing, distribution, mortgage banking, service, retail, and real estate industries. He has extensive experience in auditing and tax compliance for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, pension and profit sharing plans, and group welfare benefit plans as well as numerous non-profit organizations. He also lectures on income tax and business planning topics to real estate and other industry groups.
Mr. Postma is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed by the California Department of Insurance. He is also active in community affairs. He is a member of the Orange County Sheriff's Department, California Association of Sheriffs and serves on the Advisory Council for the Orange County Sheriff's Department. In addition, he is involved as a fund-raiser for charitable organizations.
