John has over 15 years of progressive responsibility managing short and long-term acute care hospitals. He began his career as a Registered Nurse, with a BSN, working Trauma and teaching Paramedics for four years. He then worked on his MBA and did a Hospital Administrator Internship where he moved into hospital operations. He provided strong leadership which earned him the honor of Administrator of the Year while working with a national acute care hospital corporation. In 1989 John opened a new LTACH hospital in Denver, where he took the facility to profitability in its first year. Mr. Oliver exceeded the company's expectations over the next six years and was promoted to Vice President of Regional Operations managing 13 long-term acute care hospitals. In 2001 Mr. Oliver joined a National LTACH provider as their Vice President of Operations. He assisted with their expansion efforts which climbed to 15 hospitals by the end of 2003. Overall, John has opened 10 LTAC hospitals and managed over 25 hospitals. Mr. Oliver joined Solara Healthcare in 2003 and brings strong hospital operations experience to the organization and unyielding commitment to quality patient care which stems from his solid clinical roots. |
