John joined Athena design in January 2005 as CEO. Prior to Athena he served twelve years at Cadence Design Systems in Marketing, Applications Engineering and General Management focused on IC implementation and verification technologies. In his last two years at Cadence, John served as Chief of Staff to Ray Bingham, Executive Chairman of Cadence. John has also served at Cypress Semiconductor and Silvar-Lisco in product marketing.
He began his career designing ICs at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas. John holds a B.S.E.E. from Old Dominion University. He is the inventor of clock-tree synthesis. |
