John Milligan has spent more than 20 years in healthcare informatics, virtually all of it in pursuit of ways to understand and effectively solve hospitals' clinical and workflow software needs. Prior to Care Fusion, he spent five years as a vice president of sales and operations for Omnicell Inc., a provider of clinical workflow solutions to commercial and government acute-care hospitals. Before Omnicell, Milligan was VP of sales and marketing at Serving Software Inc., a provider of healthcare enterprise scheduling systems. After its acquisition by HBOC (now McKesson), he continued as VP of its Access Management product line. Milligan got his start in health IT as a software sales representative for First Data - Health Systems Group. A member of HIMSS, he earned a bachelor of science degree in management engineering from the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md. |
