John McLaren is Executive Vice President and regional President of the Europe, CIS and Africa group. Since joining AES in 1993, John has held several senior management positions including AES Vice President of Generation for Europe and Africa.
John is a power engineer with extensive commercial and operational experience in construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of conventional thermal and gas turbine based power plants. Prior to AES, he was with CEGB and PowerGen.
He holds an MBA from the University of Greenwich Business School in London. |
