John joined WDD as Test Lead in 2006. Before joining WDD, John began his career developing a software quality process for JD Power and Associates in Los Angeles. He then went on to create and manage the testing discipline at Schawk Digital Solutions in Chicago. John is as enthusiastic about testing software as our developers are about creating it. John holds the Certified Software Tester (CSTE) designation from the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), is a regular speaker on testing at his alma mater, Taylor University, and participates regularly in national and local conferences on software testing. Using a context-driven approach, John creates and executes test strategies that ensure quality software for development lifecycles that range from the most agile to the most stringently regulated. John has experience with scripted testing, exploratory testing, automation and performance tools and test management tools. In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, jogging, playing music, and messing around with computers. Education: John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Systems from Taylor University in 2001 and a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from DePaul University in 2005. |
