John McCombe PEng., Vice President, Operations has been with IAMGOLD since September, 2005. Mr. McCombe graduated from Queen’s University in 1983 with a B.Sc. in mining engineering. Upon graduation Mr. McCombe joined Dickenson Mines (now Goldcorp) at their Red Lake operation where he held various mine and mill operating positions. In 1993 Mr. McCombe joined a US based consulting firm as project manager where he was responsible for several projects in the former Soviet Union. In 1995 Mr. McCombe joined Breakwater Resources and held various roles in Canada, Honduras and Chile where he was responsible for operations, project expansions, project start-ups and exploration programs. In October 2004 Mr. McCombe joined Breakwater’s Toronto office as Vice President Operations where he was responsible for their 3 international and 3 Canadian mines. |
