John Martin joined ProObject in 2000 and assists clients in the federal government and telecommunications industry in solving their most difficult embedded / real-time software engineering problems. With more than 14 years experience, John plays an active role in new business development, marketing, recruiting and training. He believes that our exciting technical challenges, combined with opportunities for continuous professional development, make ProObject an ideal place to work. Throughout his career, John has successfully led teams of engineers through all phases of software development, including requirements definition, analysis & design, implementation, testing and deployment. John is skilled in the use of leading-edge CASE tools to help improve software engineering processes within embedded environments. His technical background is in electrical engineering with a concentration in telecommunications and signal processing. John has practical experience in the design and implementation of real-time system control and digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms. He has developed numerous embedded applications using a variety of high-performance CPUs and Texas Instruments DSP devices. John is skilled in various programming languages including assembly language, C, C++, and Java. John was born in Washington, DC and now lives in Maryland with his wife and two children. He is an active supporter of Maryland-based religious and educational organizations and serves as an assistant coach for local youth baseball and soccer leagues. John Martin earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at College Park and an M.S. from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. He is a member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). |
