John Malloy has been with Sanford Rose Associates for five years. His areas of expertise include Senior Management, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Engineering. Rather than focusing on an industry, John works with but one company in any one market. As a strategic partner, the trust needed makes it imperative that no conflicts arise.
Prior to becoming a leader in the executive search field, John was President and CEO of Modern Machine Works, a tier one supplier to both automotive and aerospace OEM’s.
John earned a BSEE from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He started his career installing automation and robotics with Stroh Die Casting. Prior to his tenure with Sanford Rose Associates John spent nineteen years with Modern Machine Works Inc. as Quality Manager, Engineering Director and VP, Sales VP, Executive VP and finally President.
John served as Executive VP of EDAC Technologies, a Michigan based supplier of services and components for industrial users throughout the US. He was also President of Aztec Systems, a manufacturing software development company. John has served on the Board of Directors of several companies both public and private. He has experience in both domestic and international business acquisitions, corporate banking and strategic planning.
Over his career John has won numerous awards. While VP of Engineering at Modern Machine Works, he led a team that won the State of Wisconsin’s New Product Development Award for four straight years. Harvard honored him by using his corporate strategic plan as a case study for their Small Business School. Customers such as John Deere, AlliedSignal and Thermo King honored his company with supplier achievement awards.
John and his wife Joyce have four daughters. They enjoy golf, boating, bridge, biking and gardening. |
