John’s specialized background is focused in the oil and gas exploration and production companies, manufacturing, and service industries where he has provided attest services and held various accounting roles to help his clients and the organizations achieve their goals. He has experience in SEC reporting, stock options, derivative financial instruments, and hedging activities as well as management consulting experience in the evaluation and application of accounting principles and processes and the selection and implementation of accounting and fixed asset software. A unique component of John’s background is his experience with UK GAAP, in addition to US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards, and his experience with attest services related to initial public offerings and ongoing reporting in both the US and the UK (the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange). John graduated with a B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas in Austin and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. |
