John has significant experience and broad contacts in media and entertainment as well as knowledge in alternative energy. He appears regularly on Fox News as a guest Financial Analyst and political commentator. He has sponsored charity events for the Make a Wish Foundation and The American Freedom Festival, raising monies for US Soldiers. Layfield wrestled with the World Wrestling Entertainment for 11 years, becoming the longest reigning champion in Smackdown television history. He wrote a personal financial planning book

He has been to the Middle East five times to visit the soldiers on behalf of the WWE, AFE and USO, spoke at the 2004 Republican Convention and has been invited to both the White House and Buckingham Palace.
