John Kuriyan - Most recently was Managing Director of Mittal Steel Point Lisas in Brazil and in Trinidad and Tobago. Reporting directly to Steel Baron Lakshmi Mittal and heading the Arcelor Mittal Group’s operations in Brazil and the West Indies, John has over 31 years experience in engineering, manufacturing and general management in the steel and tire industry. Prior to joining Mittal Steel Point Lisas, he was Director General of Servicios Siderúrgicos Integrados, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Mittal Steel Lazaro Cardenas. He has also served as Senior Vice President, Manufacturing at Dunlop India Limited and as President and CEO of Falcon Tires Limited. He is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a Postgraduate from the same institute in Industrial Engineering. |
