John Kinzer, Senior Vice President of Finance is responsible for the Company’s planning, forecasting, business analysis, reporting and M&A functions.
For the past 16 years, Mr. Kinzer has worked with a range of organizations from early-stage technology start-ups to a Fortune 500 company and global public accounting firm. In those positions, he gained experience working on IPO’s, M&A and all facets of the finance function. Prior to joining Blackboard he worked at e-centives, where he created the planning and analysis function. He also worked at MCI in the business analysis, planning and accounting functions. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. where he was a Senior Analyst.
Mr. Kinzer has obtained a CPA, CMA and CFM and holds a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech University.
