John was appointed Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing in October 2004. He joined MEMC in 1980 and worked in a variety of engineering and management positions. From 1995 to 2001, John worked as Technology Director at Taisil Electronic Materials, MEMC's joint venture in Taiwan. In 2001, John returned to MEMC's Corporate Headquarters in St Peters to work as Director of Product Marketing. In 2003, John was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and most recently was appointed to Senior Vice President of Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has also served as Chairman of the Silicon Manufacturer's Group (SMG), in the SEMI organization. |
