Hodge brings more than 16 years of experience in investment banking focused on the global technology industry. He has completed more than 200 transactions for numerous leading technology companies, such as Silicon Image, Apple, Applied Materials, Broadcom, Google, Intel, Phillips, Samsung and TiVo. He has advised clients on a wide array of strategic transactions and financings in a broad range of industries and has worked on transactions in North America, Europe and Asia. He was the team leader on Google's groundbreaking $1.9 billion auction IPO and the SMIC $1.8 billion dual-listed IPO (the largest Chinese semiconductor foundry). Currently, John is with the Blackstone Group in the Private Equity division where he is focused on technology investments. Prior to the Blackstone Group, he was a senior advisor and managing director at Credit Suisse First Boston's (CSFB) technology group and in a separate tenure at CSFB, served as a managing director and global head of corporate finance. Hodge has been the managing director of west coast corporate finance for Deutsche Bank's technology practice and held positions at Morgan Stanley and Robertson Stephens. Hodge graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University. Hodge is a regular speaker at industry events and a guest lecturer at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. |
