John Hake brings to API over 30 years of experience in business technology development and management, strategic sales and executive leadership for Global 5000 companies. Most recently, he was the Chief Executive Officer at Global Commerce Systems, Inc. As GCS's CEO, Hake was responsible for driving all strategic initiatives to meet shareholder expectations including sales, marketing, learning services, customer service, and consulting. He also provided strategic direction and leadership as GCS expanded its global presence through internal growth, partnerships and acquisitions. Prior to GCS Hake led Sun's Worldwide Financial Services group, one of Sun's most profitable divisions, focusing on the global banking, securities and capital markets sectors. In his nine years with Sun, Mr. Hake was involved in some of the most significant and visible financial institutions with which Sun does business. He also helped establish Sun's preferred vendor status with Identrus, a global bank consortium that is the leading provider of identity trust for worldwide business-to-business Internet commerce. Prior to Sun, Hake was founder and president of financial software provider Versa-Link Inc., CIO of Dain Rauscher Corp. (NYSE:DRC), and was a district manager for Oracle Corp. (Nasdaq:ORCL). |
